Last year when my family was here over the holidays we went up to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA. We had so much fun that Eric and I decided to go up again and take the kiddies. Of course, without my family, it wasn't nearly as much fun, but we still had a great time. We walked around Williamsburg, Ethan stepping in every puddle he could see. It was pretty dang cold so we were afraid the kids would turn into ice blocks, but they were little troopers. We attended Santa's feast again and the turkey and pork roast was just as juicy and tender as last year. Yummy! We got a chance to take the kids to some shows and on some rides...everybody loved the Christmas decorations up in the park and all the carolers and bagpipers, etc. Happy Post-Christmas!
Overheard: Libby, playing pretend with dolls: "I don't want to be a princess wife anymore! I'm gonna take this wedding ring and throw it in the garbage!" Natalie: Do I have a feminist on my hands?
Ethan, passing by restaurants in the car: "Mom, I miss fast food!"
Libby, playing pretend: Mom, what do Ollie and I need to do in order to be ninja pigs?"
Ethan: "I can't wait to go check outside to see if there is any new born snow!"
We are Eric and Natalie Pelfrey. We've been married for 7 years and we have a energetic little boy, Ethan (5), and a sweet and stubborn little girl, Libby (3) and a chunky, precious baby boy, Oliver (1). Eric is workin' his life away as an attorney in the Big D, and I am going crazy as mommy. We are very blessed and very happy!
